A labor of love, the Align hoodie was born of the artist’s need to turn pain into art. With this piece, they explore the question of what is it to create through and because of pain? This summer, Olive Louise, creator of 2theFuture, slipped a disk, resulting in excruciating pain. But as they worked through the nightmare that is our healthcare system, they found the MRI intriguing and they became very interested in the inside of their body. They began drawing spines, bones, and other internal parts to represent what the inside of them felt like or could feel like. What difference would it make if our insides looked like this drawing? What is an accurate representation of the body? Of pain? Each hoodie is hand painted so every one is unique.

Your hoodie may not be exactly the same as pictured here, but it will be at least as beautiful. It is 1/1 unique hand dyed using organic processes and made to last. It will come alive as it changes as you wear it, wash it, love it, and expose it to light. Care: Wash sparingly in cold water with phosphate-FREE liquid soap.
