The Ultra Violet Line is named for the light that fixes the photo-dye process to the clothing. Like the future which is a space/time that is simultaneously unobservable and also always present, Ultra Violet light exists beyond what we can observe with our eyes. We feel it based on how it affects our skin and eyes as well as through our ability to measure wavelengths though we cannot visually observe it as a color different from other white light. However, many animals see UV light as different from other wavelengths and they use it to find their way around the world, find food, pollinate, and otherwise move in ecosystem with the natural world.
